From 14 untill 17 of august, the young ladies of the Dutch TalentTeam of Drachtster Boys were on tour in the Algarve. To enjoy the sun, the beaches and the city of Albufeira but most important was playing the Algarve Tournamant on Saturday.
Playing against 3 clubs of Portugal & have some fun with the Portugese girls. It was a very succesfull tournament, organized by Gary Thomas (director of the Algarve Football Tours).

“ On behalf of all the lads from Staces Aces FC, I would like to record our sincere thanks for arranging our football tour package to Albufeira.
From our point of view everything went like clockwork, starting with the prompt airport transfers to the excellent hotel, which was in a great location and just perfect for our requirements.  This was followed by a fabulous sports facility for the football match against a genuine friendly, evenly matched opposition.  As a tour organiser over many years I’ve never had it easier and it was my most relaxing tour to date!  Your attention to detail even included the provision of water & oranges at half-time and clearly demonstrates an overwhelming desire to cover all angles for the client (normally we have to remember to buy water in bulk at the local supermarket and ‘cart’ it to the match!)
If any other football teams are considering travelling to the Algarve I can wholeheartedly recommend using your services, because the all-inclusive package you put together was excellent value for money, which is so important for a tour organiser’s point of view.  It can be a massive gamble when taking a large party abroad to play a friendly football match, because you never know what to expect, but your kinds efforts on our behalf took away all those worries and Albufeira 2012 was, without question, one of our most enjoyable European excursions.

The experience had by all, including parents, players and coaches was immense and in every part down to the hard work and dedication shown by Gary Thomas of Algarve Football Tours. Just thought I’d write and thank you for the superb tour we have just had April 2011.
Right from the first contact I had with you right back in 2010 you have always been attentive and very supportive full of good advice. As with anything that needs organising that involves a lot of different groups, adults, kids and players it hasn’t all been straight forward from our side but you’ve always been flexible and understanding.
We would thoroughly recommend you to football teams of all ages. We are a team of teenagers and  thought the hotel Paraiso de Albufiera was fantastic with the ‘all inclusive’ being superb for the teenage boys who ate and drank themselves to a standstill. The adults didn’t do too bad with the drinks. It was a superb location from start to finish.The transport was spot on and we travelled around like a ‘pro’ club in top notch buses. From the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to our matches. Absolutely fantastic.On the football side we had stiff competition just like we had requested and all of our coaches were impressed with how you managed to match us up with appropriate level of ability. The facilities and pitches were far better than we are used to in our own league. This made the matches special.Gary we all enjoyed ourselves and thought you not only put on a good football tour but you helped turn it into a great holiday with your  personal touch and attention to detail being the thing we will remember most.
As you know we had such a good time we are in contact already about next year.

Destination Football provided the ideal opposition and the facilities at the Municipal Estadio de Albufeira were 1st Class. Aside from the football, Gary was “on-hand” all weekend to help us and allow us to make the most of our time in Portugal. The accommodation (hotel Paraiso de Albufeira) was absolutely perfect, training facilities were great and the most important was that Algarve Football tours had everything arranged from arrival till departure.

“ We had an unusual request in that we needed three games in three days and in different venues. We found Gary Thomas using Google, as we knew we needed a contact based near Faro Airport due to direct transfers from Newcastle. Everything was like clockwork. We arrived at the hotel welcomed by a placard showing our fixtures. Gary also used his contacts in the local press and radio to publicise our tour and the actual games and opponents were perfectly suited to our standard.A fantastic tour, the best we've had yet and probably won't be matched.
